Pick a color: Tools to create your brand palette

If you are working on your beauty brand, one of the first thing you need to focus on is a color palette.

Your color palette is one of the first things that clients will notice in any of your marketing, and it sets the tone for your entire brand. You might be soft pinks and grays or bold reds and black – and those colors can say it all!  Of course, your associated imagery is important, as are fonts, and other graphical elements. But a cohesive color scheme will is the basis for a professional, well thought out look!

https://coolors.co/ - Start from scratch or enter a color you want to start with – maybe one from your logo – and generate palettes until you find one you like! What’s great about this generators is that it will pair the tones and shades correctly – it’s basically foolproof! 

https://www.canva.com/colors/color-palette-generator/ - Upload a picture of anything you love and this app will create a palette by pulling colors from the image.

https://color.adobe.com/create - For the more sophisticated designer, this Adobe tool helps create a palette using a variety of Color Harmony rules. Chose from complementary, monochromatic, etc and the system will place the color picking orbs in the right spot on the color wheel.

http://colrd.com/palette/ - Colrd is an intuitive color palette generator with a range of options. One of its best features is a grid of 140 similar colors displayed next to the one you’re currently working on, limiting the need to tweak several control bars while trying finding your perfect palette.
